Summary
We are seeking a Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Whizz Kids Pre-school. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the growth and development of young children, planning activities and communicating with parents to discuss their progress.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development for children aged 2 to 5 years.
- Record observations of children's progress and development accurately.
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child's achievements and areas for improvement.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure high standards of care and education.
Requirements
- Hold a NVQ level 3 in childcare or equivalent qualification.
- Some experience working in a nursery setting is essential.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework is required.
- Strong communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
