Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Help with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying up
- Escort seniors to appointments and social outings
- Monitor and report any changes in senior's health or behaviour
Skills:
- Compassionate and empathetic towards seniors
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with seniors and their families
- Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR
- Physical stamina to assist seniors with mobility issues
