Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting parcels safely and efficiently to various locations within in the Devon area. This role requires good communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting, ensuring that deliveries are made on time while adhering to all safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a your own van, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload goods, some heavy lifting may be required.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any possible issues.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any discrepancies.
- Ensure that all deliveries are made in a timely manner while providing great customer service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. But not essential as training will be given to both experienced and in experienced candidates.
- Valid driving licence.
- Ability to perform some heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading parcels.
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- Use of your own vehicle with the correct insurances in place is required but advice can be given on insurance needs.
