General Traffic has been a family-run business since 1983 and is now one of the largest automotive parts stockists in the North West and Midlands.
Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team in Leek. Your main duties will include:
- Delivering goods between to our garage customers in company vans
- Checking orders for accuracy before delivery
- Using a PDA system to obtain delivery signatures
- Collecting and returning goods with clear and accurate return notes
- Promoting our business by informing customers of special offers and new products
- Representing the company professionally with a smart appearance and well-maintained uniform and vehicle
- Assisting with other branch duties as needed
Requirements:
- A full UK driving licence
- Good driving skills and road safety awareness
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good knowledge of Crewe and surrounding areas
Hours: Monday to Friday, plus alternate Saturdays (44.75 hours per week on average).
