Manual Machinist Job Description
Duties:
- Set up and operate manual machines such as lathes, mills, grinders, boring machines.
- Use hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Verify dimensions using precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges, micrometers, vernier calipers.
- Perform maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Work with tooling to ensure proper fit and function.
- Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
Experience: -experience with heavier jobs/larger machines requiered. -CNC experience a bonus.
