Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing software applications manually to ensure they meet quality standards and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing
- Analyze business requirements and create detailed, comprehensive test cases
- Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla
- Work closely with developers and project managers to ensure timely resolution of issues
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve software usability and functionality
- Participate in test planning and estimation activities
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in manual software testing
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
- Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Mantis, Bugzilla)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and documentation skills
