H Mell and Son – Specialist in Welding and Steel Fabrication are looking for a Skilled Manual Machinist to join their close-knit team. H Mell and Son require the candidate to be able to hit the ground running operating a variety of manual machinery. Working in our machine and ram repair division.
Role: Skilled Manual Machinist
Pay: Very Competitive Pay
Hours: Full Time
Location: Beckingham, DN10 4PY
Contract: Permanent + Overtime available
The Role:
As a Manual Machinist you will be expected, but not limited to:
- Milling
- Turning
- Line & Horizontal boring
- Key cutting
-General machining
- Carry out specialist one off RAM and sundry repairs
- Work from drawings & samples
Essential attributes:
- Hardworking & reliable attitude.
- Relevant engineering qualifications
- Experience working as a Manual Machinist, with extensive knowledge of drilling, milling, or turning.
- An excellent understanding of engineering drawings and quality inspection.
- A strong eye for detail.
- Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.
