Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised Logistics Coordinator with a background in supply chain or logistics to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in planning and coordinating transportation schedules, managing supply chain workflows, and ensuring the smooth execution of daily logistics activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments
- Manage transport schedules and liaise with drivers and customers
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, vehicle logs, and inventory
- Optimise routing and scheduling to ensure timely deliveries
- Work closely with suppliers, clients, and warehouse staff
- Support the logistics manager in strategic planning and reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (required)
- At least 1 year of experience in a logistics, transport, or supply chain role
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office
- Right to work in the UK or eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship
