Job Summary:
Due to continued expansion Synergy Lifting Solutions is looking to appoint a Lift Supervisor on a full-time basis. This role will involve travel within the UK and the willingness to work flexibly out with your standard hours as and when required. The successful candidate must be hardworking, reliable and possess excellent communication. leadership & interpersonal skills.

Requirements:
· CPCS A62 Crane supervisor or NPORS Crane Supervisor Qualified
· Ability to Manage Time and Workload Effectively
· Adaptable and flexible. Flexible hours are required to meet callouts and working away from home is essential.
· Excellent Communication Skills
· Experience in Working with Suppliers
· Ability to Work in a Team Environment

· Knowledge of Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER)
· Knowledge of Code of practice for Slinging Loads (LEEA)
Role:
· A leader who can work to instruction and follow Lift Plans and RAMS and be able to direct Slinger Signallers/Crane Operators and other colleagues on-site and supervise Lifting Operations.
· Responsible for carrying out effective Toolbox Talks and ensuring that all colleagues involved have a thorough understanding of the Lifting Operation being undertaken.
· Ensures all related lifting accessories and equipment are present and set up as per the Lift Plan before the Lifting Operation commences.
·Demonstrating the correct use of slings and ensuring others are following the same.
·Responsible for identifying potential hazards to any lifting operations, amending RAMS, and reporting any changes to the Appointed Person.
· Ability to assess loads to identify centre of gravity and integrity and carry out dynamic risk assessments.
· Be able to lead, supervise and move loads using mechanical aids (e.g. jacks, skates, chain blocks, winches etc)
· Responsible for adhering to all relevant training given at all times. This is to ensure the highest standards of health and safety, meeting and/or exceeding customer expectations and helping to build a highly-skilled, cohesive Lifting Operations Team
·Demonstrating correct signalling in all situations including blind lifts.
·Carry out site visits inspections ahead of work if required.
· Be an ambassador for Synergy by displaying the correct behaviours at all times. For example, on site, whilst driving company vehicles, in the main office and meetings with Customers/Suppliers or other stakeholders
