Lecturer in Dietetics

University of Greenwich
£38,249 - £44,128 a year
Medway, England

The University of Greenwich is undergoing an exciting transformation, with the launch of a new strategy motivated by an ethos of ‘Education without Boundaries’. This is already driving exceptional performance as evidenced in our recent REF2021 outcome. This saw a significant improvement in our research quality and volume across all subject areas, leading to an increase of 25 places based on grade point average (GPA), the fourth highest increase in the sector.

To maintain this impetus for growth and success, the University of Greenwich is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Dietetics within the School of Science (www.gre.ac.uk/es/science). This post will extend our academic staff base to support the expansion of this dynamic discipline at the University.

We are looking for an experienced Dietitian able to conduct innovative, high-quality, specialism-related, teaching and research across a breadth of academic levels and scientific disciplines. Please note the role holder should currently hold (or will be working towards) registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a dietitian.

The role holder will focus on delivering exceptional educational provision in a variety of formats, as well as making a strong, positive contribution to the School’s academic research profile and student experience, as well as adding value to the University’s objectives in relation to achieving overall excellence.

If you would like to help us deliver our mission of transforming lives through inspired teaching and research in the Faculty of Engineering and Science, then we would welcome your application to join us at our historic Medway campus in Chatham.

For an informal discussion about the post please contact Head of School of Science: Professor Linda Brownlow at [email protected]

Should you have any queries please contact the People Directorate Team on [email protected]
