Marshall Amplification is a well-established company based in Bletchley, Milton Keynes.
An opening has arisen for a Warehouse Operative within the Warehouse Department.
Working within a small team, the Warehouse Operative will be responsible for the daily planning and smooth running of the Warehouse, setting the required standard of quality and productivity among all Operatives and ensuring continuous improvements within the department. The ideal candidate will have experience with the use of Microsoft 365 Applications, the ability to work as part of a team and have experience of working within the assigned team.
To assist you with this decision, the duties for a Warehouse Operative are outlined below:
- Picking and packing of orders
- Loading and unloading of goods
- Checking for damaged or missing items
- Moving stock by using forklift trucks or by hand
- Processing of paperwork
- Preparing orders to be dispatched
- Performing to the Company’s standards
- Adhering to working procedures
- Adhering to Company policies
- Following the Company’s health and safety policies
- Training work colleagues where necessary
- Performing duties covered in task lists for each section within the department
- Working in other departments within the Manufacturing Plant where necessary
- Contribute positively to a clean, tidy and safe Production/Warehouse environment

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Minimum 1 years’ experience working in a Warehouse environment
- Basic knowledge of Warehouse procedures
- Good communication skills
- Basic computer use & Microsoft 365 applications knowledge
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to follow instructions
The starting rate is £12.25 per hour, with opportunities for pay increases through our structured grading system.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4.15pm with 30 minute lunch break, Friday 8.00am - 1.00pm with no lunch break
