About the role:
We are looking for a temporary laundry operative to join our team for the summer. The role involves a range of physical and hands-on duties, including:
- Loading & unloading commercial washing machines
- Feeding linen through a commercial roller iron
- Folding, stacking and preparing a range of laundry (bed linen, towels, workwear etc.)
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the work area
- Following our health and safety procedures
Our requirements:
- Good level of physical fitness - the role involves standing for long periods of time, lifting and repetitive motion
- Ability to work as a team, as well as independently
- Attention to detail and pride in your work
- Punctual and dependable
