We are seeking two dedicated and experienced Hub Leaders to support to the day-to-day operations of our Ollerton Day Opportunities and Ashfield Community Hub site. You will be required to work across the district at different buildings. This role is crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. You will lead staff teams in delivering day opportunities and complex services. You will have a good understanding of people's different needs, and a high understanding of the needs of people with dementia. This role involves the provision of high-quality, coproduced services for people using our services, developing care plans using a strength-based approach, and connecting individuals to their social environment and community.

You must be able to lead the provision of high-quality, coproduced services and develop care plans using a strength-based approach.

You must perform relevant health and safety tasks and functions and manage and uphold relevant standards.

The Hub Leader must communicate effectively and liaise with key stakeholders and provide high-quality physical and emotional support, as well as personal care.

They must embed Nottinghamshire County Council’s Cultural Priorities in the operational delivery of service and must Liaise with individuals referred to or interested in day opportunities, their carers, and other professionals and communicate and escalate significant matters impacting the delivery of day opportunities.

The hub leader must carry out all duties and responsibilities with a proactive and positive attitude and ensure compliance with legal health and safety requirements.

Identify outcomes and aspirations in care and support plans16.

You must ensure medication administration and recording procedures align with the medication policy and respond appropriately to emergency situations.

They will provide appropriate staff cover and assistance and supervise staff effectively.

They will manage finances associated with the delivery of activities and operate within departmental policies, legislation, and practice guidelines.

The Hub leader will support HR processes, including supervision, annual leave, attendance management, staff training, and support. Ability to support the staff team to work flexibly across multiple sites and in the community.

They will have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and be a motivated leader of teams. They will be competent in reviewing and monitoring service delivery operations and competent in managing performance and setting targets.

You must have a Professional care qualification or equivalent (Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care preferred) or be expected to work towards this standard in a supervisory role, or a Management qualification or equivalent or expected to work towards Level 3 management.

You must have:

  • Evidence of continuous mandatory training and development.
  • Knowledge of main ICT systems used in the service area.
  • Exemplary professionalism towards others.
  • Demonstrates excellent practice standards.
  • Experience in empowering and advocating on behalf of people using day opportunities
  • Experience in planning, organizing, and delivering complex activities.
  • Experience in the supervision process.
  • Experience in risk management and assessment processes.

You must have a minimum of three years’ experience in service delivery of a care setting. Have Experience in empowering and advocating for individuals. Experience in planning, organising, and delivering complex activities. Experience in supervision and financial management and have a knowledge of relevant legislation.
