Nursery Room Leader – Toddlers (Level 3)

Salary: Up to £30,400 per year
Hours: 41 hours per week, ideally over 4.5 days (Monday to Friday – Day Shift)
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Room Leader (Level 3 qualified) to lead our toddler room in a vibrant and nurturing nursery setting in Fleet. You will play a key role in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that promotes learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day running of the toddler room, ensuring high standards of care and education
- Support and guide a small team of practitioners, offering mentorship and supervision
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support early years development
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and liaise effectively with parents and carers
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent) – essential
- Previous experience as a Room Leader or Senior Nursery Practitioner
- Strong knowledge of EYFS and child development
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Passionate about early years education and committed to providing outstanding care
