Housekeeping/Cleaning Position
Dodford Manor, Dodford, NN7 4SR
Hours: Weekday and weekend hours available between 10am and 1pm.
Position: Part time, Ad Hoc hours as we build the accommodation side of the business. We are seeking a long-term employee to join our professional, and friendly team.
Between 6 and 15 hours per week.
Package: £12.47 per hour + Holiday = £13.98
General: We are currently looking to recruit a motivated, hardworking Housekeeper to join our family run wedding and events business. The venue having launched in April 2012 has already enjoyed considerable success and has quickly established an enviable reputation as a leading UK wedding location. We have for three consecutive years been in the Top 3 for ‘Best Wedding venue in the UK’.
In March 2025 we launched Dodford Manor House which sleep 22 guests and as such are looking to build a team to manage a busy year ahead.
The role requires a smart, professional, personable ‘all-rounder’ individual. Quick to learn and physically fit.
As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring that every guest enjoys a comfortable and welcoming stay.
Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens in guest rooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential.
- A strong understanding of cleaning techniques and products used in hotel settings.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills with a friendly disposition towards guests and colleagues.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Job Details:
To clean the 9 onsite bedrooms following functions taking place and ensuring and maintaining the high standards within the venue are adhered too.
Personal Profile:
· Excellent level of both spoken and written English
· Ability to work within a team as required
· Physically fit and able to lift and move furniture
· Punctual and reliable
Job Requirements:
Full Clean UK Driving License
Must live within 30 minutes of venue location (Dodford Manor, NN7 4SR)
