Avonfield Kitchen is a busy café based at an award-winning garden centre in Hilperton. Serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and a selection of daily specials and cakes; everything we offer is homemade and we have an outstanding reputation for our food, coffee, and customer service.
We are looking for candidates to join our Front of House team on a part-time / flexible basis. You must be reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking; and align with our values of delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced professional hospitality environment.
Ideally we are looking for someone who can work 3-4 days per week on a flexible shift pattern as required. All candidates must have availability to work Saturdays or Sundays, as the weekend day you will be required to work can vary from week to week.
Key attributes we look for in all candidates are:
- Reliable - Being punctual with a excellent attendance is essential.
- Energetic and quick on your feet with a fast and efficient work rate.
- The ability to follow instruction and work independently using initiative when required.
- Warm and friendly approach with an outgoing and positive attitude.
- Take pride in your work and uphold high standards with the ability to apply them consistently.
Desirable but not essential:
- Previous experience in hospitality, ideally a busy café or restaurant.
- Barista experience with the ability to create simple latte art.
We are open 7-days-a-week from 9-4.30. There are no evening or late shifts, and no split shifts. So this is a great opportunity to work in a professional hospitality environment whilst maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
