Housekeeper – The New Flying Horse, Wye (Ashford)
Hours: 25–30 per week (flexible) • Pay: National Minimum Wage (open to more hours for the right person)
We’re looking for a detail-driven Housekeeper to keep our village inn and guest rooms spotless. If you take pride in crisp linen, gleaming bathrooms, and a perfect first impression, we’d love to hear from you. We’ll talk to all good housekeepers — returners, students, parents, and pros alike.
What you’ll do
- Turn around guest rooms to a consistent, high standard (beds, bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, finishing touches)
- Keep public areas pristine and guest-ready throughout the day
- Manage linen, laundry, and stock; report maintenance issues promptly
- Follow cleaning checklists and H&S procedures; work efficiently to time targets
About you
- Eye for detail, reliable, and proactive — you spot what needs doing without being asked
- Comfortable with a fast pace and physically active work
- Good communication — friendly with guests and clear with the team
- Housekeeping experience helpful, but full training given
The offer
- Stable 20–30 hrs/week (mostly mornings/early afternoons), rota includes some weekends
