Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding dining experience to our guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders using Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar systems.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Assist with food preparation as necessary, utilizing culinary experience when applicable.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food handling and safety practices.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
- Proficient in using POS systems such as Aloha, Micros, or OpenTable for order processing.
- Previous fine dining or restaurant experience preferred, with a focus on guest services.
- Ability to upsell menu items through effective sales techniques.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Experience in bussing or host/host roles is a plus.
