Own the People Function at a Growing Business in Burgess Hill
Voltix Services, a thriving business with a tight-knit team of 20, is looking for a driven and experienced Head of Talent and Recruitment to lead and manage all things HR and hiring.
In this on-site, full-time role (8am–5pm), you’ll be a key part of our leadership team—responsible for building our people processes from the ground up. From recruitment and onboarding to audits, compliance, and employee engagement, you’ll be involved in every stage of the employee journey.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead all recruitment activity: writing job ads, sourcing candidates, interviewing, and onboarding.
Manage HR administration: employee records, contracts, policies, and systems.
Develop and deliver a scalable talent strategy to support company growth.
Support managers with performance, development, and employee relations.
Ensure legal compliance and take full ownership of HR and recruitment audits.
Maintain and improve internal HR processes to ensure efficiency and consistency.
Contribute to leadership discussions and culture initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
Strong, hands-on experience in HR and recruitment, ideally in a small business environment.
Solid understanding of UK employment law, HR best practice, and audit requirements.
Experience managing or supporting external HR or recruitment audits.
Someone who is proactive, approachable, organised, and confident working independently.
Must be able to commute daily to our Burgess Hill office, 8am–5pm.

Competitive salary of £40,000 – £65,000, depending on experience
