The Mercure Leeds Centre is Splendid Hospitality Group's third Accor property and further cements the group's franchise partnership with the brand. The hotel is located in the heart of Leeds' financial district just moments away from the train station and the centre's many bars, restaurants and shops. Designing the interior around the area's textile roots, the hotel provides an authentic Yorkshire experience, celebrating the region's rich tailoring heritage.
Job Description
We are looking for a Guest Services Assistant to support and complete the day to day tasks of the departmental operations.
You will be approachable and friendly people person with the willingness support and maintain a close relationship to residents throughout their stay.
This role is a multi-tasking role, and you will be required to be adaptable to ensure that the needs of the residents are always met.
Our hotel is currently operating under a government exclusive use contract, and we are providing our great facilities to residents on a long-term stay basis. Due to this exclusive contract the hotel is closed to the public and is operating under a different model to your usual hotel operation.

Role in our Family
- Deliver the best customer service, with a 'can do ' attitude
- To operate the premises (24hr)
- Follow Brand standards and procedures
- Ensuring the set up of the buffet system in the restaurant area for mealtimes for residents and serve food as required
- Adhere to Food Safety, Health and Safety and Hygiene practises followed
- Clearing/sanitising of tables in restaurant area and the reception area
- To maintain the reception, food and beverage outlets, public areas, stores, back office, staff room and outside areas in a clean and tidy condition.
- Deal with any resident queries in a polite and friendly manner
- All complaints, comments, special requests to be recorded in the daily handover log.
- To clearly communicate with other departments to ensure minimal impact on resident service.
