Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team on a seasonal basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities and equipment are maintained in optimal condition. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Duties
- Maintaining Estate lawn and landscape
- Trimming small trees, hedges and shrubs
- Removing unwanted, dead or damaged trees
- Planting shrubs, flowers and trees
- Monitoring and maintaining plant health
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform routine repairs and maintenance tasks
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all maintenance operations.
- Collaborate with external contractors for specialised repairs or services when necessary.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar position is preferred.
- Knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A valid driving licence is advantageous for travel between sites if required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
