Job Profile
The Support Worker is responsible supporting the Registered Service Manager and Deputy Manager in leading the service and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery. In keeping with Ofsted regulations / quality standards and the Company ethos, the Senior Support Worker is focused on quality, excellent service delivery, business development and the drive for commercial success. The Senior Support Worker is accountable to report to the Registered Service Manager who has overall responsibility.
Customer Care and Quality
· Demonstrate passion and commitment to excellent support and quality
· As a Support Worker, ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations / quality standards, Company policies and procedures and all ‘Good practice’ standards at all times
· Ensure that the highest standards of person-centred care and support are delivered at all times

Leadership and Management
· Actively promote a culture of high performance
· Demonstrate strong and effective leadership and people management at all times

· Ensure that resources, including staff, are effectively deployed to optimise service delivery
· Provide feedback to the Registered Service Manager regarding service affairs including staff performance, reporting of incidences, sharing knowledge or making suggestions to improve service

Business and Commercial Performance
· Accountability for effectively managing financial performance and for meeting and, where possible, exceeding agreed targets with the Registered Service Manager
· Support the deputy manager to effectively manage the service’s financial matters and maintain appropriate financial records in relation to children and young people’s monies as well as company monies, reporting any discrepancies to the Registered Service Manager
· Positively promote and market the service
· Establish, develop and utilise excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
· Contribute to the overall success of the organisation

Requirements
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
· Level 3 or 5 Children & Young Peoples Workforce Diploma with social care pathway or equivalent (essential)
· Thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant legislation and regulation relating to Ofsted registered children’s homes (Essential)
· 2-3 years experience working in Children's Residential Care (Essential)
