As fryer you are mainly responsible for the preparation and cooking of food. This includes:
· Cutting Fish
. Potato Preparation
· Making Batter
· Oil Management
· Cooking fish, chips and other menu items
Your job role requires you to maintain high standards of food hygiene and to adhere to the company’s health and safety policy. You will participate and complete all training given to a satisfactory standard.
Other responsibilities included in your job role are:
· Stock control (including stock rotation and ordering)
· Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
· The daily completion of food safety paperwork
· Adhering to cleaning schedules for the preparation and frying area
· Ensuring correct operation of the frying range (Turning on, cleaning down and turning off safely)
Your job role requires you to have a full understanding of all aspects of the company including front and back of house. As a member of our team you will need to demonstrate strong communication skills, be flexible at all times and thrive when working under pressure. You should be able to show initiative, take the lead when required and have pride in all aspects of your work.
In your role you will work alongside all other team members, helping to support each other and report directly to the shop manager in order to achieve the company’s goals.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: £11.00-£13.25 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
