Job Summary:
The Food and Beverage Team Member is responsible for delivering excellent customer service by preparing, serving, and presenting food and beverages in a clean, welcoming, and efficient environment. This role plays a key part in enhancing the guest experience by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, product quality, and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service at all times
- Take and process orders accurately using POS systems
- Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with health and safety guidelines
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of service areas, dining spaces, and kitchen (if applicable)
- Restock supplies and maintain inventory levels
- Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally and promptly escalate issues when necessary
- Follow company policies, hygiene standards, and safety procedures
- Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables, refilling condiments, and managing utensils/dishes
- Support special events, functions, or promotions as required
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a food and beverage, hospitality, or customer service role (preferred but not required)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations (training provided)
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong team spirit
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift or carry items such as trays, stock, or equipment
- Manual dexterity for handling food and operating equipment
