We are looking for an experiences Floor Captain in facilities or mailroom environment. As the Floor Captain, you will be the facilities brand ambassador responsible for proactively taking charge of your area of responsibility. Bringing to life the workplace experience for office users. The position holder is the go-to face of Anabas and will ensure that our clients needs are met, and service is delivered to an exceptional standard looking for opportunities to amaze in each interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure all meeting rooms and event spaces are set up to the required standards, ensuring all rooms are fit for purpose and all requirements organised and delivered on time.
- Conduct regular floor walks to ensure all spaces are presented to the highest standards, being the face of the facilities team and readily available to proactively assist clients.
- Conduct floor audits/ inspections throughout the day acting as the eyes and ears of the Workplace Experience Manger ensuring high standards of space operability, cleanliness and safety to deliver smooth client journey.
- Be autonomous in your role, identifying and reporting any facilities related concerns to the relevant department practicing a See it, Own it, Fix it mentality, escalating any critical concerns to the Workplace Experience Manager.
- Collaborate with other team members and service partners to ensure all required work is completed in a timely and safe manner to ensure facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
- Ensure the availability of workplace items is maintained to the required standards including stationery, cups, towels and water coolers.
- Service and maintain print/copy areas, including restocking of paper and removal / restocking of toner.
- Ensure required levels of stationary stock are maintained, distributed to the service stations during floor walks to ensure these are constantly available, completing stock replenishment orders as required tracking and reporting usage and spend. Where necessary, assist in placing and tracking Amazon orders.
- To be responsible for placing and tracking replacement key orders
- To undertake occasional kitchen checks, ensuring that the area is secure, safe and clean.
- Manage the availability, facility and operation of locker provisions for client team members.
- Collaborate with the Anabas team in assisting in small office moves
- Lead best practice behaviour within workspaces to encourage space usage in line with company vision, cultivating a culture of health & safety awareness.
- Ensure all relevant site manuals and records are up to date and available for inspection at any time.
- Distribute and collect mail and courier items to designated locations.
- Ensure mail and deliveries are screened in line with security requirements.
- Arrange courier collections as required, managing all postal services to ensure smooth delivery of the mailroom services.
- Coordinate the distribution and/or collection of personal deliveries as required.
- Manage the loading bay booking and registration of all subcontractors and deliveries in line with security and site SOPs.
- Take reasonable care of your own health and safety, and that of others, ensuring you comply with all Health & Safety procedures.
- Ensure all hazards are reported and resolved in line with company health and safety procedures.
- Complete site inductions with all subcontractors to ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times, escorting and supporting as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your manager/supervisor.
- Assist with any client ad hoc duties where required.
- Communicate clearly and positively with staff at all levels to create a focus on employee engagement, business goals and develop a positive environment.

Skills & Experience
- Demonstratable experience working within a similar role.
- Able to communicate professional, concise, and accurate information in written and verbal formats.
- Able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to competently use Microsoft Office package to a very good level.
- Flexibility to meet the needs of the businesses.
