Job Title: Print Finishing / Despatch Operative Role.
Location: Lower Weare.
Reports to: Print Manager.
Position Summary: The role includes many aspects of finishing, including Weeding, Vinyling, sewing, taping, operating cutting tables would be a massive plus as well, all types of packing including some processes that require a good level of weight to lift. You’ll be using our Management Information system PrintVis to log timings for machine and man hours. Flexibility is required during Peak Periods during the year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate very well within your team.
- Time / deadline reporting using PrintVis.
- Work in a tidy manner.
- Apply printed vinyl to various fixtures.
- Weed vinyl decals.
- Sew fabric Graphics.
- Run a Zund/Konsberg cutting table.
- Laminate Graphics.
- All aspects of apply tape or addition fittings to Graphics.
- Packing Graphics.
- Skills & Experience:
- Working in a finishing / despatch environment.
- Running Print / manufacturing equipment.
- Have an eye for detail whilst following process.
- Used to working in a fast-paced team environment.
- Adhered to tight deadlines previously.
- Experience of installations.
Nice to have (but not required)
- Previous experience working with an ERP system
- Any sort of leadership skills, work or social skills
