Experienced Baker – Artisan Bakery
Location: Bedford
Full-time | Up to 40 hours per week | Permanent position
Are you a skilled baker with a passion for quality, hand-crafted bread? We are looking for an experienced and reliable baker to join a small, close-knit team in a traditional artisan bakery in Bedford.
What We Offer:
- A stable, full-time position with evening and weekend shifts (from 4pm)
- Pay based on experience: £12.50 – £14.00 per hour (depending on experience)

- Previous baking experience – you know your way around dough and ovens
- Ability to work efficiently and independently – you get the job done without waiting to be told
- Physical fitness – the role involves manual handling and being on your feet

Main responsibilities:
· Preparing and baking a variety of breads and baked goods from scratch
· Mixing doughs, shaping loaves, and monitoring baking times/temperatures
· Ensuring high standards of hygiene, quality, and consistency
· Assisting with inventory and maintaining a clean, organised workstation
· Collaborating with the team to meet daily production targets
