Key Details
- Role: Bakery Production Operative
- Pay: £13.50 per hour, with an enhanced rate of £15.00 per hour for shifts worked after midnight or on Sundays.
- Shift Patterns (Typical, with Flexibility & Potential Overtime):
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Evening/Night Shift: 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM (midnight)
- Location: Bath (specific location details provided upon successful application).
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be an integral part of the production flow, directly assisting the skilled bakers and ensuring products are ready for customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Dough Preparation: Accurately cutting and weighing doughs, getting them ready for the bakers to shape.
- Loading & Packaging: Helping to load crates with freshly baked breads and pastries for deliveries.
- Finishing Touches: Operating the bread slicer and efficiently bagging up breads and pastries.
- Food Prep Assistance: Supporting the team with various simple food preparation tasks.
- General Support: Contributing to maintaining a clean and organised production area.
