Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the planning and budgeting phases of projects, ensuring that all costs are accurately calculated and controlled. This position requires strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Duties
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects based on specifications and drawings.
- Analyse project requirements to determine the most cost-effective methods of execution.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
- Monitor and control costs throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data for estimating purposes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and techniques to enhance estimating accuracy.
- Prepare reports and presentations summarising estimates for management review.
Skills
- Strong understanding of cost control principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficient in using estimating software and tools.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Experience
- Work within the Construction Business
- Experience with previous Data Cable Infrastructure Projects
- Delivering projects within the Data Centre industry
- An understanding of active hardware such as switches, video conferencing, CCTV and Access Control would

Pay: £24,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
