An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a music focused post-16 Specialist Provider, supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged 16 - 25 year olds across our three bases in Swanley, Canterbury and Brighton.
At SupaJam we use our students’ passion for contemporary music to ignite a love for education, and we champion achievement across our Music Practitioner, English, Maths and Life Skills syllabuses.

The Role
We are looking for an EHCP Administrator to join our SupaJam community! Answering to the Director of SEND, this is a fantastic opportunity for organised and technologically proficient person with strong attention to detail to thrive at a rapidly-growing alternative education provider. The successful applicant will work closely with the Director of SEND, the Base Leaders and the various external stakeholders to ensure that SupaJam's legal EHCP obligations are upheld. This position will involve organising annual review meetings, taking notes during official meetings and completing relevant documentation. The ideal candidate will be to manage their workload independently, be aware of GDPR and data protection responsibilities and be able to successfully coordinate meetings involving diverse professionals. Duties and Responsibilities
- Scheduling all annual reviews and in-year reviews in line with statutory timescales; communicating this with relevant staff members and students.
- Preparing relevant paperwork prior to EHCP annual reviews and other review meetings.
- Ensuring annual review paperwork is completed accurately and sent within statutory timescales.
- Ensuring correct paperwork is used as per local authority (guidance will be given) and any related preparatory paperwork is sent to families, students and/or staff where appropriate.
- Undertake relevant learning and development relating to the role.
- Undertake regular and mandatory training.
- Take responsibility for personal development and personal objective setting.
- Mentoring and training will be provided for someone with a lack of experience working with SEND learners but who has the right skills.

Person Specification
Essential
- Quick and accurate note taking.
- Technologically able.
- Strong organisation, with the ability to manage a tight meeting schedule, meet all deadlines, and ensure key stakeholders are invited.
- Collaborative, with the ability to work with a diverse group of staff and stakeholders.
- High attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Have a good understanding of GDPR and confidentiality.
- Have a sensitive manner when liaising with Local Authorities, families and students in meetings.
Desirable
- Background in education-related administration.
- Experience of working with young people with SEND and/or complex social and emotional needs.
- Experience of balancing the needs of different stakeholders.
