We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a Year 3 pupil with ADHD who has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher, SENDCo, and other professionals to ensure the pupil can access the curriculum and reach their full potential. This is a fixed-term contract, for a minimum of one Academic Year September 2025 to August 2026, linked to the pupil’s EHCP provision. ● Provide dedicated 1:1 support to the pupil in line with their EHCP targets and outcomes
● Implement specific strategies to help manage ADHD symptoms and maintain focus during lessons
● Support the pupil to develop organisational and study skills
● Help the pupil access the curriculum by adapting materials and activities as needed
● Assist in developing and maintaining the pupil's social skills and positive peer relationships
● Support the development of independence skills while providing necessary scaffolding
● Maintain detailed records of the pupil's progress toward EHCP outcomes
● Participate in regular review meetings and contribute to the EHCP review process
● Liaise with parents/carers, teachers, and other professionals involved with the pupil
● Support the implementation of behaviour management strategies consistently

Pay: £13.58 per hour
