We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to work across a Pre-School and Reception Class, supporting children's learning, development, and well-being.
About the Role
In this rewarding position, you will:
- Support the class teacher in creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging learning environment
- Assist with planning and delivering activities in line with the EYFS curriculum
- Provide one-to-one or small-group support for children, including those with specific educational needs
- Help foster children's social, emotional, and academic development
- Contribute to daily routines, ensuring every child feels welcome and valued
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months' experience in Early Years education
- Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Strong communication and comprehension skills
- Calm, nurturing, and professional manner
- Experience in care, youth work, or school settings
- Commitment to creating a consistent, caring, and engaging environment
