Childminders assistant
Term time only, 8.30-3.30/4.00 (including college and paperwork allowances)
Based in SN7 8JF.
I am an Ofsted registered childminder, currently working with an assistant.
Looking for someone who would like to learn more about childcare, or someone who is already experienced, but would like to gain a qualification.
Summary
As a Childminders Assistant, you will support the daily care and development of children in a nurturing home based education environment. Learning all the skills you need to implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), the statutory requirements for early years education.
Responsibilities
- Assist in providing high-quality childcare and supervision for children in a safe environment.
- Engage children in educational activities, promoting learning through play and exploration.
- Support the lead childminder in daily routines, including meal preparation and hygiene practices.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and needs.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills in English
- Background in early years or educational support would be an advantage, but not essential.
- Ability to create a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Patience, creative, and kind approach to children
Further oppurtunities:

Pay: £7.55-£13.00 per hour
