Corporate Affairs ensures effective management of Barclays’ public image, communications, policies, and regulatory relationships. This includes overseeing corporate governance, driving corporate communications, managing policy and advocacy efforts.

We’re a digital content team in the Group Marketing function at Barclays responsible for all of our group digital channels which currently include our website home.barclays, X and . We sit at the centre of everything Barclays and we have big ambitions to widen our reach by opening up new channels and delivering best-in-class digital content across them.
This creative role will lead on the ideation, creation and editing of all content for our external digital channels. You will join a team of digital channel experts that you will work alongside to help make the most of their content ideas.
Our ideal candidate will have proven experience planning and executing narrative-based content for digital channels. We’re looking for a hyper creative individual, who is passionate about telling stories through inspiring visuals. We’re hoping to find a social media native, with strong photography and editing skills. You will have a proven track record of producing digital content that turns heads and drives engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpreting briefs to understand what is required from across the business.
- In collaboration with the Head of Digital Content you will be continually generating new content ideas for our digital channels.
- Plan and execute photo and video shoots across the UK to help capture key moments from across Barclays.
- Edit & make post ready content as per the calendar.
- Supporting your teammates on rapid fire requests and tight timelines while keeping a chill, proactive attitude.
- Willing to take last minute requests and work to tight timelines while keeping a laid back and proactive attitude.
- You have experience conducting photoshoots both quality portrait and events.
- A creative flair and confident grasp of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
- Experience following market trends and conversations and looking for innovative ways to produce digital content.
- Flexible and willing to travel within the UK to capture key moments around Barclays.
- You can work with a wide range of video and static imagery - from a collection of photography to short video clips and films.

- Good understanding of social media content; what works and why.
