About the role:
Our mission is to support the firm in delivering excellent service, to ensure the needs and expectations of our Clients and Consumers are satisfied, whilst upholding our regulatory and legislative responsibilities.
As a Data Protection Compliance Assistant you will be responsible for providing the accurate and timely delivery of data protection compliance administration tasks.
This role is a permanent full time role, working alongside our Compliance Director and Compliance Department. Day to day duties will involve working within the scope of the Solicitors Regulation Authority’s Rules and Regulations, together with the General Data Protection Regulations.
Such duties will include;
- Support and promote compliance across the business
- Coordinate, action and prepare responses to Data Subject Rights Requests
- Check and review large volumes of personal data
- Review, respond and manage data breach incidents
- Provide support to the Department for privacy related projects and development
- Identifying and reporting risks relating to compliance, across the business
- Acting as a point of contact for data protection queries enquiries from within the business
Requirements
· Legal administration experience (Desirable)
· GCSE Mathematics and English at grade C or above (required)
· Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel (required)
