Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join the team. We would like someone that would be available on Mondays (Rockbeare), Tuesdays (Rockbeare), Fridays (Rockbeare) and Saturdays (Tiverton), The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment that fosters student engagement and growth. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality dance classes and supporting the diverse needs of students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lessons.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
- Create a supportive atmosphere that encourages student participation.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behaviour.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and strategies for effective teaching.
Skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage classroom activities and administrative tasks efficiently.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and needs.
- Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance learning experiences.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for teaching and nurturing student development.
