Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Jazz Theatre team on Thursday evenings. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about dance and performance, and who possess strong communication skills. The successful candidate will engage with participants, educate them about jazz theatre, and facilitate an enjoyable learning environment.
Duties
- Lead and instruct jazz theatre classes, focusing on dance techniques and performance skills.
- Communicate effectively with participants to ensure understanding of class objectives and techniques.
- Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere that fosters creativity and self-expression.
- Prepare lesson plans.
Requirements
- Proven experience in dance, particularly in jazz styles, is essential.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to effectively engage with participants.
- Ability to educate others in a clear and inspiring manner.
- Experience in public speaking or performance is highly desirable.
- A passion for the arts and a commitment to fostering a love for jazz theatre among students.
- Flexibility to work Thursday evenings consistently.
