The Opportunity:
Are you a recently qualified accountant looking to make your first move into Corporate Finance? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing and entrepreneurial Corporate Finance team, part of a larger, well-respected accountancy and advisory firm.
Working in a small, agile team, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to all areas of the deal cycle – including lead advisory, M&A, valuations, due diligence, and strategic reviews. You’ll be involved from day one in live deals and client meetings, learning directly from experienced senior professionals in a supportive environment designed to accelerate your development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of M&A, management buyouts, and fundraising transactions
- Assist in preparing financial models, pitch documents, business valuations, and IMs
- Conduct market research and sector analysis to support deal origination
- Liaise directly with clients, investors, lawyers, and other advisors
- Play an active role in all stages of the transaction process, from origination to completion
About You:
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), ideally trained in audit, transaction services, or general practice
- Strong commercial acumen and a genuine interest in corporate finance and M&A
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with clients and stakeholders
- Highly analytical with strong Excel and report-writing skills
- Self-motivated, with a desire to learn quickly and take on responsibility
