Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cook/chef to join our team in preparing delicious meals in our restaurant/bistro kitchen. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality food preparation and maintaining food safety standards.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following recipes
- Assist in menu planning and creation
- Monitor food stock levels and be able to order when necessary
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver excellent dining experiences
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cook/chef or similar role
- Knowledge of food techniques and practices
- Understanding of food safety principles
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
This role will including breakfast, lunch and evening service, varying from 7am -11pm on various days of the week.
We are at present looking for a full time (40-50 hours per week) and a part time role at (20-30 hours per week)
