Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Assist in meal preparation, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure the health and safety of all staff and customers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
- Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes.
- Serve meals to customers, ensuring an exceptional dining experience.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen setting.
- Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques.
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, showcasing the ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in meal preparation.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail, ensuring high standards are met consistently.
