Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in meal preparation and food safety, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. This role is essential in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests, contributing to the overall success of our restaurant.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
- Assist in the planning and execution of daily specials and seasonal menus.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy service periods.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on culinary techniques and food safety practices.
Skills
- Strong culinary skills with a passion for cooking and creativity in meal preparation.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a kitchen environment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
