Job Purpose
To lead data-driven initiatives that drive operational excellence, ensure high-quality standards, and support continuous improvement efforts across the organization. The role combines deep analytical expertise with practical quality and process improvement skills to enhance performance, reduce waste, and improve customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Analysis & Insights
- Collect, analyse, and interpret complex datasets to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop dashboards and reports to communicate KPIs, quality metrics, and performance trends.
- Support business decisions with evidence-based insights and predictive analytics.
2. Continuous Improvement
- Lead and facilitate Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement projects across functions.
- Apply root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques (e.g., 5 Why, Fishbone) to address systemic issues.
- Collaborate with teams to implement process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce waste.
3. Quality Leadership
- Develop and maintain quality assurance processes and standards across the business.
- Monitor and analyse quality performance metrics, including defect rates, customer complaints, and audit findings.
- Lead internal and external quality audits; ensure compliance with applicable standards.
- Drive a culture of quality and continuous learning.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work with cross-functional teams including Operations, IT, Product, and Customer Support.
- Act as a bridge between data analysts, engineers, and operational leaders to ensure practical implementation of improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Experience in data analytics, quality management, or continuous improvement roles.
- Strong knowledge of data analysis tools (Excel, ERP, Etc.).
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt certification preferred).
- Deep understanding of quality systems, process mapping, and audit frameworks.
Desirable
- Experience in manufacturing
- Familiarity with ERP systems
