We’re seeking an enthusiastic and proactive individual to oversee facility lettings across multiple venues, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all.
About the Role:
As a Lettings Assistant, you’ll play a key role in managing school facility lettings during weekday evenings and weekends. This casual role is perfect for someone looking to earn extra income around existing commitments such as work or studies. This role is for someone who is willing to be flexible and available throughout the week. Currently, we have Wednesday and Thursday evenings available as well as all day Saturday.
Key Details:
Shifts:
- Weekday evenings: 5:30 PM – 11:30 PM (times may vary)
- Weekends: Between 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM (times may vary)
Shifts are not fixed and will depend on bookings and existing staff rotas*
Locations:
Training and shifts will take place at Beaumont School (St Albans), with occasional cover required at Aldenham School (Elstree).

- A positive, energetic, and reliable individual.
- A great timekeeper and communicator.
- A valid driver’s license and access to transport.
- Customer service experience and the ability to build strong, professional relationships.
- The ability to work independently and manage hirers effectively.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
Requirements:
- Completion of a self-declaration form.
- Enhanced DBS check (as the role involves working on school grounds).
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely setting up and maintaining equipment for sports clubs and events.
- Regularly checking and cleaning equipment to ensure it’s in top condition.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the facilities and office areas.
- Building effective relationships with hirers and schools.
- Following health and safety guidelines to keep the environment secure.
- Upholding School Enterprises’ policies and procedures, including dress code.
- Opening and locking up the facilities.
