Night-Time Kitchen Porter – Deep Clean Specialist (Restaurant)
About the Role:
We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Night-Time Kitchen Porter to join our restaurant team. This role is key to ensuring our kitchen is spotless, sanitised, and fully prepared for the next day’s service. Working after the kitchen has closed, you’ll carry out thorough cleaning of all areas, equipment, and surfaces — playing a vital role in upholding our high standards of hygiene and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform deep cleaning of all kitchen equipment, surfaces, appliances, walls, floors, storage areas, canopies, stoves, bins, and fixtures.
- Ensure that all cleaning is completed to a high standard in line with food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Follow COSHH procedures and use all cleaning chemicals safely and correctly.
- Wash and organise all cooking utensils, trays, and cookware used during the day’s service.
- Empty and sanitise bins, dispose of kitchen waste properly, and follow recycling procedures.
- Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance or equipment issues promptly.
- Leave the kitchen fully clean, organised, and ready for the next day’s prep and service.
About You:
- Experience in a professional kitchen or cleaning role is essential.
- Strong attention to detail with a passion for cleanliness and organisation.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently without supervision.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual, hands-on cleaning work.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible with night-time working hours.

Pay: £11.00-£12.50 per hour
