This City Centre, bustling 4 Star hotel is located in the heart of the city, opposite St Georges Hall and next to the main shopping and dining districts, transport hubs and only a 10 minutes’ walk to the iconic Albert Docks and waterfront attractions. Situated across the road from Liverpool Lime Street Station and the city’s main bus station the hotel is conveniently placed and easily accessible for our guests and associates. The adjacent QPark car park is available to guests and associates, with complimentary parking for our associates. Boasting 146 bedrooms and a number of event spaces, the largest of which proudly hosts events of up to 240 delegates, the hotel is a magnet for large conferences, social events and weddings.

This hotel is an icon in the city, and in August 2023 will celebrate 25 years as one of Liverpool longest operating 4 Star Hotels. This reputation stems from the pride, passion and enthusiasm our associates have to ensure that every arriving guest, leaves feeling like a local. Through 2023 our associates will take the hotels product and service offering to the next level as we undergo an exciting renovation program that targets every area of the hotel. This renovation and celebrating a quarter century of operating in one of the UK’s most iconic cities is going to make 2023 a truly inspiring year.

This position is offered on a casual basis under a zero hours contract. Working hours may vary and will be offered depending on the needs of the business. This flexible arrangement allows both the organisation and the post holder to respond to changing operational requirements.

Job Summary

• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dish washing machine, hand wash stations pot-scrubbing station, and trash compactor.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen and store room areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment. Receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotate stock.
• Empty and maintain bins.
• Clean and mop all areas in assigned departments.
• Break down cardboard boxes and place them and other recyclables in the recycle bin.
• Follow instruction as per Executive Head Chef and Sous Chefs.
