We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a cook. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a diverse range of meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service.
- Monitor food quality during preparation and cooking processes, making adjustments as necessary.
- Participate in menu planning and development, offering creative ideas for new dishes.
- Provide exceptional service when serving meals, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- To adapt meals to meet the needs to texture modified diets
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment.
- Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Hours are 12 hour shifts start at 8am finish at 18.00
Alternate weekends are required
