Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Animal Care Assistant to join our team in providing excellent care for animals. The role involves assisting in the daily care and welfare of animals in our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in feeding and exercising animals
- Clean and maintain animal enclosures and living areas
- Monitor animal behaviour and report any concerns to senior staff
- Provide basic first aid and medication administration under supervision
Experience:
- Previous experience working with animals is desirable
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and pet owners
- Familiarity with animal care practices and procedures
- A valid driving licence may be beneficial for transportation needs
