Leisureways is a family business situated just outside Rotherham Town Centre and is the areas leading Motor Factor, supplying car parts, paints & refinishing products to both trade and retail customers for over 60 years. The store has recently undergone extensive renovation and investment and is now seeking to employ an enthusiastic parts advisor to join our busy customer facing counter sales team.
The ideal candidate should have some knowledge of automotive parts and also experience using the MAM Autoparts system. They will be responsible for supporting our sales team, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall success & future growth of the business.
We will provide on the job training but experience in this field is essential for the role.

Working Hours: 42.5 hours Monday - Friday
Saturdays on a rota basis paid as overtime
Duties:
- Correctly advise on car parts & accessories to reduce the amount of returns & credits we receive.
- Provide excellent customer service to our customers both in person and over the phone.
- Accurately take payments over the phone using a card machine.
Qualifications:
- Good knowledge of automotive parts
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently, especially when other colleagues are on lunch break & annual leave.
- Basic maths skills for handling trade transactions accurately.
- Organisational skills to maintain a tidy and efficient work environment
- Impeccable listening skills to sell correct products
The role entails answering phone calls from customers to take orders, provide quotes and answer any queries using our computer database to correctly advise the parts required. You may be required to also take card payments over the phone for cash on delivery orders.
The suitable candidate must be able to communicate confidently with both customers and colleagues. A good knowledge of motor vehicle parts and components is essential for this position and experience using MAM software would be advantageous but full training will be given. You must be able to work well under pressure and be able to work equally well as part of the team and develop your full potential as an individual.
You will be expected to keep a clean and tidy appearance at all times as a representative of our company.
Salary is to be discussed at interview and will be dependent upon experience and knowledge.
