We’re looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our small, dedicated team as a Booking Office Administrator.
The Role
Based at our main office in Newtown St Boswells, Near Melrose, Scottish Borders. You’ll be a key part of the Booking Team, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our booking office. From handling enquiries and managing databases to supporting customers and property owners, you’ll play an integral role in maintaining the high standards that our company is known for.
The Booking Office Administrator role is full time (37.5 hours per week) and would include working every other Saturday , with time of in lieu.
Flexibility is essential in this role—you’ll be a team player willing to pitch in where needed, including occasionally making the coffee!
Responsibilities
- Manage bookings and enquiries using various office software, including email, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Handle telephone calls professionally, assisting customers and property owners with their queries.
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of our property portfolio to help secure bookings and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records and keep booking-related databases up to date.
- Work collaboratively as part of the team to respond promptly and accurately to booking enquiries.
- Contribute to providing exemplary customer service.

- Desirable Skills:
- Basic knowledge of database-driven web content.
- Familiarity with Scotland’s geography and its appeal as a tourist destination.
