Job Title: BookkeeperJob Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to manage our company’s financial records. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, processing transactions, and supporting the accounting and finance team. This role is crucial to ensuring the company's financial health and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct journals and ledgers.
- Process accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Maintain general ledger and chart of accounts.
- Manage payroll processing and tax payments (if applicable).
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Work with external auditors during audits.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
